केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री होंगे मुख्य अतिथि
भोपाल : एक दिसंबर 2024 को इंदौर के प्रतिष्ठित देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय सभागार में विश्व एड्स दिवस 2024 का मुख्य कार्यक्रम होगा। इस आयोजन की तैयारियों के साथ मध्य प्रदेश एचआईवी/एड्स के खिलाफ भारत के प्रयासों में केंद्रीय भूमिका निभाने को तैयार है। कार्यक्रम केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री श्री जगत प्रकाश नड्डा के मुख्य आतिथ्य में होगा। मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव भी विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में कार्यक्रम को सुशोभित करेंगे।
यूएनएड्स की थीम, “टेक द राइट्स पाथ” के अनुरूप इस विश्व एड्स दिवस पर जागरूकता, उपचार के लिए अधिकार-आधारित दृष्टिकोण और एचआईवी/एड्स से प्रभावित लोगों के खिलाफ भेदभाव को खत्म करने पर जोर रहेगा। उल्लेखनीय है कि भारत सरकार के स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालयके तहत राष्ट्रीय एड्स नियंत्रण संगठन (नाको), 1992 से प्रतिवर्ष 1 दिसंबर को विश्व एड्स दिवस मना रहा है। इस तरह के आयोजन समुदायों, युवाओं, लाभार्थियों और विभिन्न संगठनों को एक साथ लाकर 2030 तक एचआईवी/एड्स को समाप्त करने के वैश्विक लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए चुनौतियों का समाधान करने और प्रगति करने में सहयोग को बढ़ावा दे रहे हैं।
कार्यक्रम में एक अभिनव प्रदर्शनी का भी आयोजन किया जाएगा जिसमें नाको द्वारा अपनाए गए डिजिटल इको सिस्टम, सामुदायिक जुड़ाव, अभियान-आधारित दृष्टिकोण के माध्यम से हासिल की गई उपलब्धियां और लाभार्थियों द्वारा बनाई गई हस्तनिर्मित वस्तुओं की विविधता जैसे कार्यक्रम से संबंधित प्रमुख घटकों को प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा।
इसके अलावा इस कार्यक्रम में नाको के थीम गीत को जारी किया जाएगा जिसका लंबे समय से इंतजार है। इसके मूल गायक देव नेगी, मोको कोज़ा और एग्सी द्वारा लाइव प्रदर्शन के माध्यम से इसे जीवंत जाएगा। इसके अतिरिक्त लाभार्थियों की प्रेरणादायक कहानियां नाको की पहल के परिवर्तनकारी प्रभाव को प्रदर्शित करेंगी। साथ ही संगठन के मिशन को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण संसाधनों का अनावरण भी किया जाएगा।
यह कार्यक्रम नीति निर्माताओं, सरकार, नागरिक समाज, समुदायों, युवाओं और विकास भागीदारों के प्रतिनिधियों सहित विविध हितधारकों को एक साथ लाएगा। स्वास्थ्य सेवा में समानता को आगे बढ़ाने और महामारी के खिलाफ सामूहिक कार्रवाई को प्रेरित करने के प्रयासों में व्यापक भागीदारी को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए कार्यक्रम को देश भर में लाइव स्ट्रीम किया जाएगा।

Hon’ble Union Health Minister to lead the World AIDS Day 2024 Commemoration
Indore to host the transformative event at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh is ready to take the centre stage in India’s efforts against HIV/AIDS as it gears up to commemorate grand observance of World AIDS Day 2024 on 1st December 2024 at the prestigious Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Auditorium in the city of Indore.
The event will witness the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, as the Chief Guest, along with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, who will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour
Aligned with the UNAIDS’ theme, ‘Take the Rights Path’, this World AIDS Day will emphasize awareness, rights-based approaches to treatment and ELIMINATE discrimination against those affected by HIV/AIDS. Notably, the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India has been observing World AIDS Day annually on December 1 since 1992. Bringing together communities, youth, beneficiaries, and various organizations, these observances have been fostering collaboration to address the challenges and advancements aiming at the global goal of ending HIV/AIDS by 2030.
Meanwhile, this year the programme will feature impactful activities, such as an innovative exhibition showcasing key programmatic components like the digital ecosystem adopted by NACO, community engagement, achievements made through the campaign-based approach and variety of hand-crafted items made by the beneficiaries.
Apart from that, the event will also include the much-anticipated launch of NACO’s theme song, brought to life through a live performance by its original singers— Dev Negi, Moko Koza and Agsy promising to encapsulate the spirit of the programme. Additionally, inspirational stories from beneficiaries will showcase the transformative impact of NACO’s initiatives, while critical resources will be unveiled to further the organization’s mission.
The event will bring together diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, representatives from government, civil society, communities, youth and development partners with a live stream available nationwide to encourage widespread participation uniting efforts to advance equity in healthcare and inspire collective action against the epidemic.
