Indore: Two days Sub Zone Central Revenue Sports Meet 2024-25 begins with the inaugural speech of Chief Guest, Shri S.B.Prasad, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Indore at Daly College on 15th January 2025 at 9 O’clock. On this occasion Principal of Daly College Smt. Gunmit Bindra, Pr. Commissioner of Income Tax-1, Indore Shri Ajay Atri and Commissioner of Income Tax Shri R.K.Yadav were also present to witness the grand opening ceremony two days gala sports events. Contingents of various teams of Income Tax Department from Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Indore and Raipur, Central Narcotic Bureau, Gwalior, GOAW, Neemuch, Central Excise and CGST, Bhopal participated in the Flag post on the Band of Sare Jahan se Accha..,. The event was followed by a Yoga Session and performance of Dance troop on the motivational songs.
In sports events begin with the 100 mt. race under the category of Mens Trac Games. The Central Governments employees participating from across the Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh shown their enthusiasm and skills in the 16 disciplines of sports held throughout the day at the Daly College, Income Tax Office Indore and Yashwant Club, Indore. The games have tested their physical power and mental toughness. It will surely help them to manage the stress of life and keep balance with the office work. At the end of the first day, results in various sports have been declared. The games of Contract Bridge, Cricket, Football and Athletics which will continue to be held on 16th January, 2016. The Prominent Cricket Player of National stature Shri Vanktesh Iyer is also expected to participate in the game tomorrow. The closing ceremony of two days Sub Zone Central Revenue Sports Meet 2024-25 will be held at 4:00PM on 16th January, 2025 at Daly college grounds in the presence of Chief Guest, Shri S.B. Prasad, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Indore. The certificates and medals will be given to the winners of each category of sports events.
16.01.2025: The second day of Two days Sub Zone Central Revenue Sports Meet 2024-25 begins with cricket match between team of CCIT, Indore and CGST, Bhopal at Hanumant Cricket Ground and Contract Bridge at Yashwant Club, Indore. Trophy of Football is won by team of GOAW, Neemuch against the match with team of CCIT, Indore. In the final match of Vollyball between CGST Bhopal and CCIT, Bhopal, CGST Bhopal won the match with scores of 25/15, 17/25 and 15/11. In the game of Kabaddi team CCIT, Bhopal emerged as winner by beating the CGST, Bhopal team. The closing ceremony of two days Sub Zone Central Revenue Sports Meet 2024-25 has been held at 4:00PM on 16th January, 2025 at Daly college grounds in the presence of Chief Guest, Sh. Ajay Atri, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax-1, Indore. The certificates and medals are distributed among the winners of each category of games.
